To ensure that your credit or debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate 3rd-Party databases.

If the consumer has received goods in connection with the contract you shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at Harrods Vintage Teddy Bears, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you receive the goods. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. It is recommended that you use a recorded delivery service and that you adequately insure the products during transit. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to products during transit when being returned to us. If returned products are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right to charge you for (or not to refund any amount attributable to) such loss or damage.

Delivery

We will deliver goods ordered by you as soon as possible to the address you have given us for delivery, but in any event within 30 days of your order. However, we reserve the right not to make deliveries outside the United Kingdom unless our ordering form provides that facility.

Upon receipt of your order, you will normally be asked to sign for the goods as received in good condition. If the package does not appear to be in good condition, then please refuse the delivery. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery at the point of delivery, then please sign for the parcel as “UNCHECKED”. Failure to do so may affect any claims that you make thereafter.

If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us of the problem within 48 hours of the delivery of the goods in question. Photographic proof of faulty products and damages will be required in all cases. Once we have agreed the damages, we will issue you with a returns form. Please retain proof of cost of postage and email it to  andreahvtb@gmail.com. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the products to us, or unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. We will refund you all monies paid for the products except the shipping costs to you and the return postage charges and any import duty if incurred.

We shall deliver the goods to you within 30 days (‘the long delivery date”) of the date on which you ordered them. If you request that the parcel is left without a signature in a safe place, then we can take no liability in respect of that parcel if it goes missing or is damaged. If the couriers are unable to deliver to the requested address, then they will take your parcel to the nearest Post Office and leave a card to update you.

If a parcel is taken to a Post Office it will be held there for 7 days after which, if uncollected, it will automatically be returned to us.

If goods are returned to us as undeliverable either because of an incorrect address, refusal by the customer or because of your failure to contact the courier or failure to collect from the Post Office, once goods are received back by us, we will refund the value of the goods less any costs charged to us by the couriers for returning the goods. If you require the goods to be re-dispatched to you then there will be a re- delivery charge for this.
