Steiff 1998 Club School Beginner Teddy Bear - 420139. This  glorious 30cm Mohair Teddy Bear is ready for school, in fact, he is School Beginner Bear, a 1998 Steiff piece for their Club Members.
School Beginner is fully jointed and sewn from a decadent pistachio mohair with fabulously contrasting, coral pink hand stitched features and two tone green eyes. He wears a detailed, genuine leather satchel and  the Steiff Club ceramic medallion of the time.
This wonderfully sentimental piece, was a Steiff Club Limited Edition of 8,730 Bears and he is number 5451. He is without his box and certificate and has only been displayed in a cabinet.
